Executive Pastor, Still Water Community Church

Emergency Manager, USAF

  • Developed, maintained, or implemented continuity and disaster recovery strategies and solutions, including risk assessments, impact analyses, strategy selection, and documentation of continuity and disaster recovery procedures. Planned, conducted, and debriefed regular mock-disaster exercises to test the adequacy of existing plans and strategies, updating procedures and plans regularly. Acted as a coordinator for continuity efforts after a disruption event. Conducted disaster response plans and recovery actions during Superstorm Sandy at Joint Base Langley Eustis. 

  • Instructed Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear survival skills for use in a wartime environment. Evaluated students on the knowledge and ability to survive in the case of a CBRN attack. Planned, conducted, and debriefed exercises for classrooms to entire installations. 

  • Provided Emergency Operations support for real world disaster response, wartime skills exercises, disaster response exercises, and VIP visits to the area (Ex: POTUS).

2011 - 2015

Dangerous Goods Specialist, Fedex

  • Memphis World Hub

    • Responsible for tracking hazardous materials inbound to MEMH departing to various locations. Responsible for the proper loading of hazards materials onto departing planes from MEMH. Briefed pilots on possible hazards and emergency procedures for the hazardous cargo they were transporting.

  • Dallas Metro Station

    • Responsible for the inspection and approval of hazardous materials being shipped FedEx out of the Dallas area. Implement current International Air Transport Authority (IATA), FAA, and FedEx rules for the shipment of hazardous material both domestically and internationally. Ensure the proper loading and transport of hazardous materials from the DALA station based on current DOT regulations. Responsible for implementing and carrying out proper spill clean up procedures for local hazardous material spills and coordinating with FedEx Dangerous Goods Administration and the EPA if necessary.
